We sat next to each other on the plane. She asked what I did, and then she told me her story.
She designed her Dream Home
She had a vision, and every detail was carefully considered.
For months, she curated mood boards and sourced materials, selecting the perfect countertops for the kitchen and fussing over the exact shade of paint for the walls. She hired tradesmen, pored over floor plans, and watched her dream home come to life.
It was everything she had imagined: coffered ceilings, statement lighting, and en suite baths that felt like boutique hotels. But on move-in day, as the sunlight poured through her windows and the neighbors’ views poured back in, she realized she had overlooked something essential.
The windows were bare.
